I remember reading on Best Buy Canada's website that if you pre-order the game you get access to the Beta... I wonder if that goes for Mac too or just PC. But yeah, I can't wait to see how well it will end up running on the 13" MBP with the "killer graphics"!

I think I deleted/edited all the pages and categories you mentioned that you didn't have permission to change.
I moved the Forum Posts category into the Mac Guides category. I don't think it deserves to be listed on the main page since it's more a secondary categorisation of articles and not generally a logical place to look for something.
Some brief comments on the Guides category since I'm not sure everyone fully understands its purpose; it contains 'how to'-type articles as opposed to encyclopaedia-type articles, so it's not just a catch-all. Having said that, it might not be the most logical categorisation structure so I'm not completely against removing it.
The new Mac Hardware/Macs categorisation seems strange. Having the extra step of having to go to the "Macs" category after going to the "Mac Hardware" category seems unnecessary and could make hardware articles hard to find. For example, someone looking for "MacBook" might go to the "Mac Hardware" category and see articles such as "MacBook Upgrade Guide", but would have to read the list of subcategories quite carefully to realise they need to go into the "Macs" category. "Macs" and "Mac Hardware" have much the same meaning so it seems quite confusing.

... free everything and someone to teach us how to wipe our butts. We have this weird vision for American where everything should be an incentive to be responsible.
anything else promotes irresponsibility
How about you help get the Morality Police off our backs first and then we'll talk about the "incentive to be responsible"? I have a job, I take care of my family, I pay my bills, I'm not slicing co-eds' throats in the middle of the night, I'm not selling guns to Middle Eastern nutballs -- so at what point does the Holier-Than-Me crowd take me off its speed-dial? They say it's all about Personal Responsibility and yet when I achieve my Decent Member Of Society Merit Badge, they're still telling me how to live, and more to the point, what my wife does with her body.

:( I am starting to think why do i have a mac, as i need so many dam adapters.
Exacly what a friend of mine said when he got his new macbook and found out he needed to buy new adapters since in the 3 years they removed many (such as the analogue audio ports)

So a 17 year old can do it but a gigantic company with $50 billion lying there can't. Seems logical to me.
Wake up Steve. Seriously.
There's quite a difference between supplying 450 kits and selling 4-5 million white phones.

It says "MacBook" updates at this event. I hope that wasn't a typo! :D

Booo! He worked for Microsoft, that means he knows nothing and that all of Microsofts "problems" will now surface on Apple devices. Unclean! UNCLEAN!!
From what I understand, there are smart and creative people at MS but the company is bloated and unorganized so it is unable to really utilize its people effectively.

Macworld (http://www.macworld.com/article/159010/2011/04/wozniak.html) reports on Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak's keynote session at Storage Networking World in California. Wozniak was questioned about how tablets would change the computer industry. The tablet is not necessarily for the people in this room, Wozniak told the audience of enterprise storage engineers. Its for the normal people in the world, Wozniak said.
I think Steve Jobs had that intention from the day we started Apple, but it was just hard to get there, because we had to go through a lot of steps where you connected to things, and (eventually) computers grew up to where they could do ... normal consumer appliance things, Wozniak said.

I hate to say it but I was not moved by these commercials. Nice to see them but sorry...both guys are geekish.
1) Mac says that he can be used in private and PC is for work only.
...welll that looses the work market ...the market that I use a mac in.
2) Sorry the "Mac" character is not as cool as the US version or some of the actors being used for other computer commercials in Japan. Star power sells in Japan.
If Apple really wants this to sell, they will have to make some specialized videos that are Japan only. For example iMovie...they have to use an example of the time it takes to edit say....kid's sports festival video.
Now I am waiting to see these commercials on prime time TV. If they have a good response and apple sales go up...Great. But sorry. My office is all PC and people have no clue what a Mac is. They just think I can do all these awesome things because I bought the software.
We get faxes daily selling PCs. We have sales people coming by every so often selling computers directly. What is apple doing in Japan? nice commercials that will maybe sell a few more. But in the schools, they are doing crap. If the school uses PCs, the parents buy the same one.
In Sendai, the school system bought macs...so did the parents.

Hong Kong, Japan & a few other countries have been using technology like this for a while. Hopefully it'll start being mainstream in Western countries soon.
Hong Kong uses a SMART type card for everything, transport, vending machines, etc etc.
Japan uses their mobile phones, AFAIK :P

Could be they made many more Verizon models. Could also be that ATT models are being bought for resale overseas. Nothing wrong with that, which is what the OP was implying, I think..
Nah. You put too much thought into his post. He's just saying that the people who bought Verizon iPads are stupid.

From the video there looks like there is a lot of space between the front and back plates and the metal part....perhaps this is a converted iPhone 4 as this is not present on black ones,,,,a bad conversion at that.......:(

The trademark was posted with a "Far Eastern" patent office...hmmmm... That is Japan I believe.
1) Japan is the only "Far Eastern" nation with an iTunes Store.
2) Softbank has stated in the past that it was in talks with Apple to become a provider of an "iPhone".
3) iPhone is critical for Apple sales in Japan as iPod and iTunes sales have been losing out to AU and DoCoMo's music download-to-phone services
Reason? Japanese people don't like using their credit cards online to buy things. Apple has been pushing pre-paid cards sold at convenience and electronic stores. Softbank is rebranding the Vodafone product in a "Apple fashion" by offering more stylish, intuitive and creative products. Currently when you sign up with Softbank, you get a 4GB iPod Nano.
Unlike the G5 powerbook, this is not a white elephant. It is going to happen and probably in the next few months.
